Nina is the director/producer of the award-winning educational DVDs, The Happiest Baby on the Block and The Happiest Toddler on the Block. These videos have been featured in numerous national media outlets, including The New York Times, People, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Dr. Oz, The View, and CNN.
In 2001, Montée Karp helped create one of the first environmental documentaries, Not Under My Roof, featuring Olivia Newton-John and Kelly Preston. It was designed to teach parents how to create a healthier home.
And, in 2010, she wrote, produced and directed the DVD, Breast Cancer: "The Path of Wellness and Healing". This 2-disc, comprehensive guide informs and inspires breast cancer patients and their loved ones through the entire arc of the disease, from diagnosis to treatment to full healing through the integration of traditional medicine plus meditation, exercise, optimal diet and spiritual practices. Participants include leading breast cancer specialists (e.g. Susan Love, Marisa Weiss, Dennis Slamon), top wellness experts (e.g. Dean Ornish, Deepak Chopra, Maoshing Ni) and numerous celebrity breast cancer survivors (e.g. Olivia Newton-John, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Christina Applegate).
Nina is also on the Board of Directors of Environmental Working Group (EWG) whose mission is to use the power of public information to protect public health and the environment; Breastcancer.org which has disseminated information and support about breast cancer to over 10 million women; Vice Chair of Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles’ Huckleberry Fund to benefit homeless teens; and was a founding Board Member of Healthy Child Healthy World - a national environmental non-profit organization dedicated to protecting young children from chemical and other ambient threats and promoting safer, healthier environments. Nina has produced and chaired numerous fundraisers and raised millions of dollars for charity.
