Before returning to the United States as Medical Director for PRC-Orange County, Dr. Eric Scott Sills managed the research portfolio for Ireland's largest independent reproductive biology unit. There, he lifted his faculty's scholarly output to a level surpassing all five Irish medical schools combined. He has been active in full-time clinical practice since completing his fellowship at Cornell University, where he worked under fertility pioneers Gianpiero Palermo and Zev Rosenwaks. Dr. Sills has published over 100 scientific & policy papers, and is the only reproductive endocrinologist in the world to have co-authored works with both a Member of Congress (USA) and Member of Parliament (UK).

Dr. Sills' research on the advanced reproductive technologies has been presented before expert audiences in Africa, Asia, Europe, India, North and South America as well as the Middle East. Having directed investigative teams in Europe and the United States, Dr. Sills has discovered three human gene mutations since 2001. Dr. Sills organized the first joint fertility research collaborative involving Arab and Israeli IVF clinics in 2007, and he accepted a Board of Regents nomination to the New York State Board for Medicine the following year. While still in medical school, Dr. Sills had served on the Board of Trustees for the state Department of Mental Health in Tennessee.

He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, American College of Surgeons, and the Royal College of Physicians (Ireland). Dr. Sills is a member of the Education Committee for the U.S. Federation of State Medical Boards and is Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Experimental & Clinical Assisted Reproduction.
